If you want to go to Benicassim and camp overnight then you’re in luck, tickets are on sale now! The great thing about camping tickets for Benicassim is that they are valid for a full 9 days. The festival itself runs from 15th – 18th July 2010 (that’s a full four days of music) but with a campsite ticket you can roll up and pitch up from the 12th July until 20th July – giving you plenty of time to prepare and then recover.

Each day the festival usually starts at 7pm(ish) and runs until 7-8am the following morning. This is due to the intense heat that southern Spain gets at this time of year. You really don’t want to be in a mosh pit during the middle of the afternoon with 35C of sun bearing down on you. Hopefully the chaos at the train station at the end of the festival will not be as bad this year,last year was chaos.a few people giving information and organising the people with and without tickets into seperate lines would be a big help.
