Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) is dead handy for anybody living in the Yorkshire region and who can’t be bothered making the trek over the pennines to Manchester, or arguably even worse, Liverpool. Whilst Yorkshire’s favourite airport is dead convenient unfortunately it doesn’t offer the same range of flights as it’s cross-pennine neighbours. However, you’ll still find a range of decent prices with a few different airlines direct into Alicante, at time of writing Jet2 came out top with prices from £112 return (including taxes) which we think is pretty reasonable if not ever so slightly more expensive than some of the fares available from Manchester or Liverpool. But then by the time you’ve paid for petrol/train/taxi money over to Manchester or Liverpool you’re worse off anyway so Leeds is definitely worth a look.
