Arrgh! This is awful to be reading now when I ‘bought’ tickets from these guys in February!! I emailed them yesterday and they assured that tickets will be sent out at the end of June, or if still have concerns would supply a refund. Has anyone had tickets or refund yet?

  2. tabanobu says:

has anybody physically had a refund as of yet?

  3. Julie says:

Just wondering if anyone has received their refund yet?

  4. ste says:

******g horrible ripping scruffy theiving bastards, I bought two tickets off them last october, they took the money , but have not wiped my account……….yet……….

  5. sophstar says:

I bought tickets from this site and when I read all this stuff I emailed them my concerns, they called me and told me they would send me a refund within 7 days but have had nothing (unsuprisingly)!

I contacted trading standards before I asked for the refund but they said because they havn’t not sent me tickets they havn’t done anything wrong yet. I think not giving me a refund is wrong so I will be contacting trading standards again to inform them.

  6. undisclosed says:

They promised us a refund and that it would clear in 7 days, no surprise we didnt get anything. spoke to them again, said it would be done by the weekend, no surprise didnt get anything!!!

they’ve garanteed us a refund AGAIN and sent us some kind of till reciept, so hopefully it will be done in the next couple of days, but i highly doubt it!!!

everyone who has bought tickets off this site needs to contact the police so that watchdogs are made aware and can track down the bastards!!!!!

  7. Rebecca says:

Just wondering if anyone that was told they would recieve a refund from Benicassim2010 .com has actually reieved the money back in your account? And could someone please post if they do

  8. bianca says:

they told me it would take up to 7 seven days…and 7 days later…no surprise the money is not back

  9. Ben says:

I called good time entertainment on: 0208 294 5742. They then spoke to the website and within 10 minutes someone from the website called me and I got my refund. I haven’t received the money back yet as they said it would take about 10 days. Fingers crossed. Good luck.

  10. Niamh says:

what number did you use to get in contact with them..

  11. Ben says:

The site are offering full refunds, I managed to get through to them today and expressed my concerns (pretty much all the bad stuff I’ve read on here). The guy I spoke to said he was aware of these forums and what had been said about their site. Although he did sound genuine, I took the option of the refund and when/if the money goes back into my account, I think I’ll get my tickets from an official seller. I hope everyone else gets their tickets sorted, roll on the summer….

  12. Luke says:

Yep I booked my ticket from that site and they didn’t send me any tickets. They are some company based in Hungary or something. I thought it strange that I didn’t get an email confirmation straight after booking, I didn’t even get a receipt, so I checked on google and yes, they are a dodgy site! I immediately cancelled my credit card, and the booking didn’t go through!

  13. sophie says:

i have… they said they have given me a refund and the money should go back into my account within a week. whether or not the money will go back into my account is another story…

  14. Tracey says:

can someone post the link to the websites that list www. benicassim2010.com as a scam site?
    thanks

  15. bianca says:

…..i didn’t want to believe this, but i’ve looked it up and it has been reported on some sites as scam…and the domain/host is definitely registered in Slovekia. May sound a bit extreme but I have emailed bbc watchdog about them…and if more people do so hopefully they will get the buggars

  16. Tracey says:

I’ve bought tickets from this site also, they have taken the money from my credit card
has anyone successfully gotten their money back from them?

  17. Jonny Nytra says:

it wasn’t up last year, there were other scam sites tho

  18. Niamh says:

Did anyone buy tickets from this website last year.

  19. Andrew says:

I was also concerned, I bought 2 tickets from this site. I spoke to someone from consumerdirect.gov.uk who was very helpful. They asked lots of questions about the site, checked it out themselves while i was on the phone and suggested it probably was a scam site. They aIso ran a domain check and confirmed that the site originates from Hungary. I was told the site details were to be passed to the police, and advised me to get anyone else who has used the site to call them – the more people that report the site, the more seriously the police will take any investigation. As for those who haven’t had money taken yet, like myself, cancel your card immediately. Anyone who then tries to take money will be declined.

  20. Cat says:

Sophie – it really, really ISN’T a legit site. Being a registered company means sweet FA. Look on the Facebook Beni group (where people have lost money and had their credit card details scammed); look here: http://www.safeconcerts.com/tickets/directory/Benicassim2010-com/ and here: http://www.volkszone.com/VZi/showthread.php?t=617860 – and then PLEASE cancel your credit card and/or write to / phone the dirty site-scamming scum and get your money back. (And then go to an official ticket site and buy tickets. And then enjoy the festival!!) xx

  21. sophie says:

it is a real company… its a member of the association of secondary ticket sellers who have to pay 150% refund if they dont provide tickets so its really ok…. they are a registered company etc etc.

  22. david says:

what didnt ya just book on see tickets the tickets arent sold out

  23. james aitken says:

cancelled the order before the trtansaction had got through but should i still be worried they have my bank details ?

  24. Amie says:

after a bit of research, we’ve found that the website actually originates from Slovakia… i’ll go there myself if thats what it takes to get my money back!!

  25. Lucy says:

@ Will: is that true!?! their terms & conditions page says they will not refund under ANY condition, unless they fail to send the tickets… plus I’ve just cancelled the card I paid with!! what to do now??

  26. Will says:

Ring them up – they are a real company and they were happy to refund me.

The number you need to call is 07757398920

  27. Jonny Nytra says:

The things that makes it unlikely that it’s a real touting site is that

    1. Much of the information on the site is outdated – Much of the lineup still hasn’t been updated.

    2. The site offers no security checks, e.c.t. All legit firms offer these checks in order to prevent themselves being seen fraudulent.

    3. It’s not an official partner to the Benicassim festival, which also means they are not given tickets to sell for a profit. This means that if this site WAS real, they would have to be purchasing thousands of tickets off a site like seetickets for example, and then sell them at a more expensive price to enable themselves to earn revenue as well. However, that doesn’t look like it’s the case – which gives reason to believe that it’s fake, because there seems to be no incentive for them.

    4. Although the other sites also dispatch tickets just 2 weeks before the event, they also offer the option for the benicassim festival to print the tickets out yourself at home instead of waiting. However for this site, you can’t do that, which further adds to the mystique of the site.

    5. The owners have made no attempt to prevent fraudulent accusations.

  28. kezia says:

I bought tickets from here and it looks like it isn’t an official partner, and it may not be particularly efficient, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s fraudulent. Obviously I’d be more comfortable with buying from an official partner but there are plenty of sites that do this kind of touting thing.

Has anyone actually managed to get their money back? Cos I’m not planning on buying more tickets if I can’t; under the T&Cs it says they won’t give a refund under any circumstances. Danielle I find your comment quite reassuring; I had a look at Good Time Entertainment online and it looks prettty official, plus everyone’s complaining they don’t get their tickets until 2 weeks before but isn’t that the case with all the ticket providers?!

  29. Sam says:

Pretty sure that website is not good; the real website is http://www.fiberfib .com

    - line up only includes first additions, with no sign of the new artists
    - ‘Map of Benicassim’ is outdated as is from 2007
    - Pretty sure the ‘a’ in ‘Benicassim’ on the header near the logo has the accent the wrong way round
    - Pages like ‘Travel Info’ and ‘Camping Infor’ look copied from the real website
    - Generally unproffesional layout

I’d stay clear, or get your money back fast!

  30. Jessie says:

yer seriously whats the go!? Im from Australia and have got 2 tickets from the site, I’ve recieved a confirmation email and everything so does this mean its sweet or not? some people think its all god, and others are devo about it.. is there any official benicassim person who can confirm whether any of us are going to get legitmate benicassim tickets or what!?

  31. stephen says:

is this actually true that benicassim2010 is a fake site

    i need to know!

  32. sean says:

So does anyone know if the tickets will come or not i mean surely there is someone who bought tickets from this site last year!!

  33. Danielle says:

My money was taken out by a company called Good time entertainment in London though, and when i rang them they have also said they have worked with the company for years. Im really confused and unsure whether to book flights etc.

  34. Andy says:

I regrettably bought 2 tickets from this site also about 2 weeks ago. Really annoyed with myself as in hindsight it all seemed a little too easy when purchasing off that site with no security checks etc.! Plus I never really put much thought into the fact that you may have to wait until 2 weeks pre-beni to receive your tickets i.e. seems they’re simply re-selling those they buy off others who decide to sell on ebay and so forth closer to the event! Fortunately tho although I received an email soon after that confirmed my “purchase” there is still, 2 weeks later, no sign of any payments to leave my account (another sign of their illegitimacy me thinks!). So i’ve decided safest option is to cancel my card as I don’t want to run the risk of not only losing £160 x 2 but potentially getting my whole account wiped!

  35. Leanne says:

I bought tickets from this site, not chancing missing the event because the tickets don’t arrive so I’ve booked more through lastminute.com. Hoping to get a refund from the dodgy website….. So annoyed!!

I tried to claim the money back through my credit card company but they can’t do anything because the company isn’t listed as fraudulent :(

  36. Ben says:

The only thing that I’m worried about is the fact that you have to wait until two weeks before the festival to get your tickets! If you haven’t received an email from them yet, I suggest you call that number. It’s always better to speak to someone, rather than emails.

  37. sophie says:

obviously i regret buying tickets from here.
but the company that took the money out of my account are listed as a member of the association of ticket resellers…. http://www.asta-uk.org/, and this organisation said theyd never recieved a complain about the company
so think it will be ok if you’ve bought them..
    hopefully..

  38. Ben says:

I booked 2 tickets from this website a while back now and didn’t receive a confirmation email. I left a few comments on the site and eventually they called me and re-sent the confirmation email. They also gave me a number to call. 07757 398 920. I wouldn’t have got the tickets from here if I’d known how unproffessional they are. It sounds like 2 blokes working out of their front room! I hope this helps you out.

  39. Danielle says:

What are we supposed to do now we have booked these tickets? Im guttedddd

  40. sophie says:

    why do you say that?

  41. Jonny Nytra says:

you definitely won’t get you’re tickets sophie

  42. sophie says:

we’ve bought our tickets from here… its taken the money out of my account. what shall we do? im not even sure if they are fake tickets or not, as good time entertainment seems to be a real company just reselling tickets?

  43. Will says:

Yeah me too! You had any luck getting money back or contacting them?

  44. James says:

Do you not think it may have been better if you had noted that earlyer as I have also bought tickets from them believing that it was a genuine website as it appeared on Google as the first link.

  45. Heather says:

They didn’t take the money from my account, which means they obviously just wanted my details etc. they now have my card number, address and all so i cancelled the card. I thought it was weird beacuse the website didn’t run through any security checks.
Its not a genuine ticket seller, so the tickets could be fake like..

  46. Matt says:

How do you know this is not a real website? Money was taken from our bank account by GoodTimeEntertainments which are a genuine company selling tickets for events. I don’t know what to believe but have cancelled my card anyway, any information would be really really appreciated.

  47. Matt says:

Is this true?? Surely there should be more of a warning about this, we just ordered 8 tickets off that site. Scum.

  48. Heather says:

    Cancel your credit card!!
Benicassim2010 is not a real website and uses your details and credit card number!!

  49. Heather says:

I purchased tickets from that website!
    Will I not get them??
