Benicassim Festival 2024

Line-up for Benicassim 2010 shaping up well

March 7, 2010 By admin 22 Comments

The line-up for Benicassim 2010 is shaping up to be the best ever according to several keen festival goers.  With acts like The Prodigy, Ian Brown and Kasabian already confirmed.

Keith Whitchard from Kent comments “I’ve been to Benicassim for the last 5 years in a row, I love it, it’s like a holiday with a festival thrown in as an additional bonus.  The line-up gets better every year, I love The Prodigy and The Klaxons so I’m excited enough to go based purely on these acts”.  Whitchard’s comments are echoed by the thousands of people who’ve already booked their tickets for this year’s festival.

The line-up is still building up with several major acts still to be confirmed.. Why not tell us who you’d like to see at Benicassim 2010!?

Broken Bells are very good would love to see them live. A shame they are relatively unknown.

i think theres actually more bands i’d rather see this year than last but the headliners are very poor. some of beni’s headliners are nowhere near the top of the bill at British festivals. Vampire Weekend, although i like them, are certainly not headline material. Its like they blew the budget on headliners last year and are trying to recoup some cash by signing up LOADS of complete unknowns on the cheap this year.Give me Muse or Arcade Fire over PIL,The Specials and now Peter Hook anyday,it seems like we’re going back in time! i know people will say they have to keep the international festival goers happy but come on Love of Lesbian…..!?

20 more acts added, mostly total unknowns…..

    Broken Bells
    Love of Lesbian
    Standstill
    Bigott
    El Hijo
    Cuchillo
    Parade
    Cola Jet Set
    Gentle Music Men
    Cohete
    Chin Yi
Marcus Doo & The Secret Family
    The Paris Riots

I’m pretty glad I held off getting a ticket, looks like i’ll be choosing another festival this summer after all, can’t wait around forever for some more decent acts or headliners to be announced!

What do u mean not the strokes…if green day play it will be such a waste and faithless are good but i wouldn’t want them to headline

prod and kasabian will headline , klaxons never in a million , we still waiting for at least 2 big bands , probably muse and green day just praying its not the strokes , had a vain hope for faithless but i think thats not gonna happen

Yeah im guessing the headliners are The Prodigy, Klaxons, and Kasabian. i’m kinda disappeared with Kasabian and Klaxons headlining, sure they got a few good tunes but they aint headline worthy. Prodigy tho, at reading they stole the show. they wern’t headlining, and they were probs the best thing ever

    March 17, 2010 at 7:18 pm

kasabian are headlining but Ian brown isn’t!

er.. hope ian brown and kasabian arn’t headlining. Tho i fear they will be.. kasabian at least
